Warwick Township, Lancaster County – The owner of Rocky Ridge Steel needed much more space and modern equipment to better serve his business. He was introduced to a former client of Diehm that had a similar vision for a property along East Newport Road. The former client left the area and Diehm was able to modify the previous plans to include a new 6,000 sq.ft. modern building. The design replaced the old barn on the site and provided needed access for full size tractor trailers into and out of the site. Diehm processed zoning approvals and a land development plan. The project was further complicated by a significant sight distance issue along the roadway. Diehm worked extensively with PennDOT to resolve the situation in a manner favorable to the client. Rocky Ridge Steel moved into the new building in 2014.
