Sadsbury Township, Lancaster County – The owners of the J.B. Zimmerman True Value hardware store in Christiana needed to relocate and wanted to expand their business. Diehm worked with the owners and their builder to craft a plan for a new and larger hardware store. The project involved the development of plans providing sufficient parking for the use, incorporating previously constructed storm water management facilities, zoning approvals for unique characteristics of the use, and navigation of the complex approval process in Sadsbury Township and the Lancaster County Planning Commission. Diehm also provided construction survey allowing the construction of the store, with a phenomenally successfule 2009 opening.
