Brecknock Township, Lancaster County – The Fivepointville Ambulance Service (FAS) was in need of an additional area for training EMS volunteers. They also needed to add a garage bay for another ambulance. In lieu of trying to expand their current facility, they opted to demolish the existing building and construct a new headquarters. Diehm worked with FAS and the builder, Hoover Building Specialists, to develop a new site plan that would salvage as much of their existing parking lot as possible, yet provide improved access to increase response times in emergencies. The project involved zoning hearing board approval, land development plan approval from the County Planning Commission and Brecknock Township, and approval from PennDOT. FAS moved into their new facility in 2015.
